Biography

Leah Sanders is responsible for the overall success of D&G as a $50M+ annual revenue, 170+ employee company. This includes establishing the goals and objectives for future growth. She is a proven leader, veteran, licensed attorney, and analytical thinker with superior communications and negotiation skills. Professional certifications include AWS Certified Practitioner and IBM Data Science Professional. Recognition Awards include Next GovCon Leader and North Carolina Bar Association Outstanding Lawyer of the Year. Leah is also a national level equestrian rider.

Mark JonesPrincipal / Founder

Biography

Mark Jones is the original founder and driving force behind D&G’s early success. Mark is a retired U.S. Army Colonel and Acquisition Subject Matter Expert with 30+ years in the Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Programs with key leadership positions within the Army, DoD, DISA, DHS, and Industry across C4ISR, IT, and CWMD programs. Mark is DAWIA Level III Certified in PM, IT and Systems Engineering. Mark is also an avid golfer and accomplished musician that enjoys playing bass in several VA/DC area churches.

Bob BurnettChief Growth Officer

Biography

Bob Burnett serves as Chief Growth Officer, responsible for the development and execution of D&G’s business development, capture, proposal, and strategic growth initiatives. He has more than 20 years of experience supporting U.S. federal government requirements, with leadership in strategic planning, pipeline management, capture, proposal development, partnering, and operations. He has supported programs and growth initiatives across DHS, DOD, the intelligence community, and GSA, most notably the U.S. Coast Guard and the U.S. Air Force. Bob has also led the development of GWAC program management and ISO 9001-certified proposal processes and has extensive experience building strategic partnerships in pursuit of federal contracts. Bob’s leadership is grounded in a commitment to client success, collaborative problem-solving, and the development of strong people and processes.
